This is a fairly "standard" West Coast IPA. Pours out a hazy, orangish color with very good head retention. Strong citrus hopnote however there is enough malt flavor that there is good balance. The bottle says "unfiltered" and you better believe it as there were a couple large chunks at the bottle that reminded me of a homebrew. Certainly worth a try.

22oz bottle picked up at JB’s
Appearance: Pours clear golden with a medium sized frothy off-white head and lots of sticky lacing
Aroma: Mild caramel, earthy and citrus
Taste: Citrus, caramel, grapefruit and spicy pine
A nice bitter IPA, well balanced.Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6
Pours a clear deep gold with tall bubbly tan head that just doesn’t fade away. That head was buoyed up by the carbonation and just didn’t die. The aroma is mild with hints of floral hops and mild malt sweetness. The flavor begins with hoppy bitterness from floral and spicy hops that are amped up due to the big carbonation. This beer is certainly over carbonated for the style. There is a mild note of malt sweetness that intercedes before the hop bitterness grows into the after taste.

Sampled on tap at the Tap Room, Seattle. Pours copper with a faint haze and remarkable lacing. Caramel candy, pine and citrus nose. Pleasant bitterness with notable crystal malt and floral & citrus hops. Worth trying.

Pours copper with small, dense head and thick lacing. Citrusy and spicy hop notes outshine a biscuit malt character, but both play a nice role. The flavor begins with a nice malty base, slightly sweet & lightly bready, and moves on to a grapefruit punch. Medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated.

Bottle courtesy 5000 / Larry Pitonka. Pour was typical for the style, nice initial head, decent retention, very good lacing in a glass that normally doesn't assist such things. The aroma was a citrus and piney hop blend. Flavor followed the aroma, a pretty simplistic IPA, yet pretty tasty and featuring an extra lingering bitterness (but not over the top) on the tongue. Mouthfeel was excessively carbonated, average to below average body for the style. A rather nice IPA, thanks for the opportunity on this one, Andre.

A yellow apperance with a very large head. This one focuses to much on the lemon flavor for me to be wowed by it. It also has a strong grapefruit presence. Somewhat bitter but sweet also. It was alright.

This IPA pours an orange gold color from a 22 oz bottle. A medium sized white foamy head with strong lacing. Aroma is fruity and floral hops. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity, citrus and piney. The bitterness is way up there but it has a nice smooth malt middle. Nice creamy carbonation. This beer has that typical PNW IPA in your face hoppiness, yet there is a certain subtleness to it as well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Wow, this is *nice*...! The rather dull looking label on the 22-oz bottle says nothing about how truely awesome this IPA is....! Perfect carbonation, nice dry hoppy front-end, smooth in the middle, and nice and refreshing in the finish. Reminds me a bit of Diamond Knot's various excellent IPA's. If I can get this locally, I would drink this all the time. As such, I have to special order this most excellent IPA. Regardless, yet another superior PacNW IPA...! //TB

A nice copperesque feel to the color, followed up with a small amount of lasting head. Smells like a flinstones push up ice ice cream thing. NIce refreshing citrus/ hoppy flavor to it. Very smooth, could there be some carrots in this, there may just be.
