This is the fifth beer in IPA Project 2005. Progress is a hop somewhat similar to Fuggle, providing a robust aroma but only moderate bittering in this easily quaffable beer.

Sly Fox Progress IPA - poured an orange colored body with a off white head. The taste was sweet and citrusy to start and finished with a slightly hoppy taste.

Wow, this is an excellent IPA! I'm not a hophead, so IPA's aren't really my thing, but if you like them, it's worth the trip for this brew alone if available. Poured a beautiful dark brown with nice head and lacing. I was surprised by the depth of malty flavor and I really loved the hop finish. Other IPA makers, grab a pint and start taking notes!

Poured a copper color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, caramel malts, and light pine in the background. Taste of lightly sweet caramel, dry wood, and a moderate hop bitterness in the finish.
