355 ml slimline can, as Sixpoint Bengali, at the Prince of Wales (JDW), Cardiff. ABV was 6.5%. Orange colour, moderate white head. Distinct aroma of American hops, notes of orange marmalade and pine. Hoppy flavour too, some sweetness but not too much, notes of orange peel and pine / resin.

pours an amber Orange color with a small head, mostly large bubbles. The aroma smells of candied orange along with herbal hops mixed in with a sweet malt character. the taste follows the aroma with candied fruit, herbal/perfume hop notes, and sweet malt. The finish brings on a medium bitterness which balances the malty sweetness nicely. The mouthfeel is light with nice carbonation.

Nose of Pear, Pine, and Tropical Fruit. Pours a light copper body with a huge frothy white head with good retention and good lace. Mouth is a bit chewy, moderately slick, quite fizzy. Pretty nice flavor profile....significantly bitter throughout...papaya notes, earthy tones, has a high note that is lemony, finish is dry...alcohol is slightly warming, well balanced...well done!

Clear orange-amber color with a faint white head; nice lacing. Very mild piney aroma. Grapefruit flavor with an oddly slick, metallic feel and flavor (on the first one). I didn't notice such on the second. Not bad - a new addition to our area.

Comes out of the tap a beautiful clear amber - not much in the way of the off-white head, but that is an artifact of the pour. Aroma is not too strong, but fruity and hoppy, rather inviting. Strong flavor is quite hoppy, rather bitter, better than what the aroma promised. Malty flavor has a firm hoppy, woody overtone and a fruity underpinning that has apple and orange notes. Texture is about average in the thickness and fizz department. Roar, tiger, roar!

My second IPA choice at World of Beer. An orange colored beer wuth a two fingered sudsy textured, off white head rising above. There's some hang time. A thick, slick film is left aside the glass. A mited nose. A citric-orange fruity tasting with a light biscui malt in the tasting. Light bodied with a slickmess on the tongue

Pours three fingers of tan colored foam, turns lacy and dimpled as it dissolves, decent lacing. The liquid is a orange bronze color with a light haziness. The nose is classic IPA featuring tangerine citrus, pine sap, flowers, biscuit breadiness. Medium-bodied with dry aspect to it. Metallic earthiness with the grapefruit to mandarin orange citrus, bread, yeast with some pine showing in the end. Nicely balanced and not trying to make some bold statement, a surprisingly nice beer.

94 on RB...not feeling that either, my 4th favorite of 5 Sixpoint brews, and the 3 above this were all hoppy. After those, this one just seemed so restrained as to a fault. An average ipa, or slightly better.

Growler from a local store, enjoyed same day as filled. Snappy bitterness right off the bat, fairly dry and light bodied for the style. Big frothy head on top of a clear copper body and good lacing. Biting pine with loads of citrus, heavy biscuit and some caramel. Good drinking IPA.

Tinny out of the can. This is the second sixpoint I have had in the can and they were both metallic. Surly doesn't have this problem so it must be the can liner? Other than that, orange beer with soapy head, lite nose for an ipa. Lots of flavor, good mix of resin and citrus, quite bitter and tasty. Too bad for the tin can taste.
