Fruity and sweet aroma with some bubble gm and spices. More fruity Belgian than Saison to me, but pretty nice overall. Not a favorite in style though, so for the price a one timer.

This is a pretty silly beer. What's so silly about it is that it doesn't look anything like what a saison would look like. Pours a cloudy copper with a nice frothy off white head. Aroma is fruity, pleasent and fresh. Orange, yeast and herbaceous on the nose. Taste is fruit forward, classicaly spicey and grass near the finish.

Sample from 330 ml bottle at the Brewery International stand, Smak 09. ABV was 5.0%, according to the importer. Beautiful copper colour, moderate head. Fruity aroma and flavour (red berries), notes of caramel. Low bitterness.

Clear amber, small tan head. sweet yeasty orange aroma. Fruity flavour nectarines with a yeasty background. Thin body. Harsh carbonation. Fruity and light herbal finish. Decent.

(BBE 09/2005). Hazy orange colour, huge off-white fluffy head, leaves lace. Aroma is acidic fruit with herbs and also caramel. Flavour is caramellish, dark fruits, hops, grass and all the time an underlaying earthy note. Dry flowery hoppy finish.

Hazy dark brown body is topped by relatively thin but creamy and lasting head. The aroma is lemon zest, toffee, vague fruitiness and a slight leafiness. Flavor is candy-like but not overly sweet. Ripe pears. Oak wood competes with cola in the finish.

Truly a unique beverage. A nice see-through dark coppery bronze body with an off-white 1 1/4 inch of suds is very inviting. Not much carbonation present with this Saison. The nose has a malty character with hints of banana detected. The pleasures for the tongue include a sugary smokiness, with a mild bitterness. Silly Saison is smooth like an English nitro, only stronger. The aftertaste is light and not harsh. This is the first time I tried this style, and it won't be the last!

Well, I had Brandon’s saison before trying this one so I was disappointed. very acidic with kind of a grapefruit taste, hints of other citrus fruits. slightly grainy. medium mouthfeel with some carbonation.

Pours with a copper/orange hue and a medium light tannish head with good lacing. If this brew had much of a nose, I didn't pick up on it. Medium to slightly heavy body/mouthfeel. Somewhat sweet to the palate, but also slightly dry, spice/fruit overtones, even perhaps a hint of raisiny notes. Sudsman enjoyed this one a lot - not the best he's ever had , but good.
