Intense wet hop flavor year round. Hop Hunter IPA harnesses the complex flavors of just-picked hops through an all-new method of steam distilling wet hops before they even leave the fields. This revolutionary technique captures and intensifies the natural flavors, creating a unique and intensely aromatic beer. Our custom process gathers pure hop oil which, when combined with traditional whole-cone hops in the brew kettle and in our Hop Torpedo, makes for an incredible IPA experience. Pours clear golden, not much head but it leaves good lacing. Aroma has strong hoppy and good fruity notes. Flavor is boldly hoppy, a little bitter, somewhat fruity and a bit malty. Firm texture has a strong, lively fizz. Finish is quite hoppy. Hunt for it if you like hops.

Clear light orange, big off-white foam head. Hoppy aroma and nice bittersweet taste. Lasting aftertaste, very nice one. Glad I took this beer home from states. (Velp 201512)

Mid golden yellow body with lots of yeast floaters, the head is thin and white leaving moderate lace. Aroma of moist dank, tropical fruits and citrus hops. Mouth is slightly prickly with plenty of oily viscosity. Flavor is pine sap, grapefruit, and faint malts. Overall another fine beer from Chico, CA.

I hope they don't discontinue or make Torpedo seasonal because of this. Like a toned down Torp, with less malt and hops to give it a lower strength. Yes, it's clean, drinkable, well-balanced, etc....just seems like there is a marketing reason for his new label. Overall, a solid IPA in the lower 6% range, which they were lacking for year-round distribution. I like it, but like I said.....if Torpedo goes, so do I.

This beer has a major nose hops all over it. Floral, violets , strong pine, and citrus. pours a pale amber with a very nice off white frothy head leaving good lace. mouth is medium some slickness carbonation spot on. Flavor is pretty well balanced slightly sweet and floral hops predominate with some citrus coming through on the back end not as big a bitter bomb as you might expect. Finishes surprisingly neutral and quite clean somehow feels just a bit empty.

Pours a pale amber color with a small white head the quickly dissipates, but does leave some spidery lacing on the glass. Sweet hop aroma with grapefruit, honey and a bit of pine. Sweet citrus flavor with a resinous, slightly bitter finish. The resinous aftertaste feels peculiar, almost as if it's artificial. I am assuming this is the use of the hop oil. The taste is somewhat muted in comparison to the smell. Certainly a better than average IPA, but really nothing special. A good value (a Sierra Nevada trademark) and worth a try. I'd rather have their Torpedo.

A golden colored beer with a big sudsy textured, white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A thin ringlet is left. The hoppiness in this one is muted citric and some pine. Crisp and refreshing, though.

Nice aromas and color, flavor seemed bitter at first to me- and then balance quite nicely with the malt background.I picked up lots of sharp pine notes, overall a good IPA .

Coper color with a faint white head; pine, resin and citrus aroma and flavor. Mellow hoppiness makes it very drinkiable if not very discernable from other average to slightly above IPAs. Not a standout, but not bad.

Crisp thin and drinkable. Just another slightly above average ipa. Pine and lots of grass. Cut a little grass on a hot sunny day. Tis good for you. Cut a lot, pick something better.
