Pours clear amber with a thick, frothy, and rather persistent buff head. Strongly hoppy and citrus aroma reaches out and touches the nose from 30-40 cm. away. Hints of malt and yeast appear as the drinker closes in. Flavor presents hoppy and fruity notes riding a malty supporting note, not quite as intense as the aroma but still enjoyable. Mouthfeel features OK body and fizz, while finish leaves nice hoppy and tropical fruit notes. Get equatorial!

This has a better aroma and appearance than last year’s Beer Camp Hoppy Lager, but not quite as smooth and refreshing. Flavor is bolder with tropical flavors like mango, citrus (Grapefruit/Orange), papaya, etc.. Decent hops too, but balance a bit towards the sweet side. I’d compare it to a white IPA. I only sampled a single, so maybe if I got a 6 or 12 pack it would grow on me some. Good beer, but wasn’t quite in love with it though to run out and grab more.

A clear amber colored beer with a big sudsy textured, off white head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. A thin soapy ringlet and light dusting of film are left. tropical fruity hoppiness in the nose. More of the same in the tasting cut with a bready sweet malt. effervescent on the tongue

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a big fluffy off white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is bready malt with tropical fruit hops and some slight metallic notes.
The flavor is sweet sugary tropical fruit with resiny bitterness that's slightly harsh and acidic in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, I like the tropical fruit but there are some odd harsh acidic and metallic notes that detract, -

Nose of Sweet Tarts without the artificial aspects. Clear medium amber body with continuing effervescence topped with a moderate white head that laces well and has a long-lasting generous skim coat. The mouth is medium and plays to the entire palette with a very clean finish. I am quite fond of the flavor profile. Relative bitterness is greater than the 55 IBU would indicate. Malt bill rounds this one out nicely with hints of caramel and softly toasted flavors but the up front tropical notes for Citra and Mosaic hops really shine, with some complexity added from El Dorado. Alcohol well masked at 6.7 but present in the finish and slightly warming Finish is clean with little aftertaste, just a sense of bitterness. I hope they move this up from Beer Camp to a regular offering, its delightful. Rerate: They did indeed move it out of beer camp, unfortunately something was lost in translation. Nose isa bit more malty, flavor profile the hops are diminished, fairly bland and an unpleasant finish, aspirin comes to mind.

Bottle. Strong fruit notes and hop resins in the nose. Taste is rich in tropical and citrus fruit with soft floral notes and caramel. Body is medium with a strong, creamy carbonation and a moderate lingering hop bitterness. Ends with more tropical fruit, citrus notes, caramel, sweet malt and floral hops.
