Packing a big hop-forward punch and bright crisp finish, this golden pilsner features a hearty dose of “sticky,” resinous Crystal and Pacifica dry hops, which balance the light-bodied yet complex malt backbone.

Nothing "imperial" about this pilsner.....5.6%...really? Ok, so a slightly strong pilz, but the imperial part is misleading. Either way, a good early fall beer.....especially for daytime/early evening. Borderline lager....could be a little smoother, but the grassy flavor is there with some ok hop at the end. An ok selection for something lighter in this beer camp bundle...but not something I would really seek again.

does he greet them when they walk in? .. . great uplifting smell .. flowral and crisp .. . deep yellow gold .. . bill c's got a nice watch .. . i can kinda see why they call this imperial, because this is an awesome regular pils that is really tasty and super awesome!!! .. . . Endeavour flew over my house, twice- then i saw it on my way to g-town, i have photo evidence but it looks like a dot...

Had this on tap at Bailey's recently and found it to be quite nice. Clean, golden, midly hopped. Big floral nose, full malt backbone, soft bitterness rounds it out nicely.

this beer camp ofering was ok. It was very ligh tasting with a good crisp finish. Notes of hops and a slight citrus aroma fill the scent. I was refreshed that the brew was ok and not bad. SN is my flagship brew masters so i was releived to know that.

The star of the Beer Camp pack this year, while not imperial in strength it is so in aroma and flavor. This offering is bursting with a remarkable floral hop profile. Hopped up and fruity with a delicate pepper and bread backbone along with a lightly nutty after taste. Crystal clear golden hue, 1/2" lasting white head and strands of thick lacing. Crisp lively, bitter and dry. Awesome creation.

"Imperial" seems like a misnomer. Dark gold pour with very little head. Aroma and taste are almost the same--lots of bready malts with some earthy hops. Not quite as crisp as I like in my pilsners.

Sampled on 8/17/2012. This Imperial Pilsner pours a orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet with some orange and orange peel, touch of bread as well. A medium bodied Imperial Pils. The malts are bready, fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy and herbal. Nice carbonation. Big full round carbonation. Very nice beer. Mouthfeel is very full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

I dunno why they call this an imperial pilsner when it's only 5.6%, but by the 2nd or 3rd sip... I don't care. For a normal abv pils, it's very nice. A little on the crisp hoppy side, like I like em, with a backbone of bread, especially in the nose. The feel was a strongpoint as the beer did a little jig on the tongue.
