Sibirskaja Korona (Siberian Crown)

Pilsener with a bite, strong taste but bit to much carbonated. Nice hop taste and bitter on the tongue. Good beer for thursty moments, but when poored in proper glass will do perfect with a meal. (St. Petersburg 201109)

Thanks to my buddy Brian for bringing this back to me during his travels throughout Russia. Aroma is mostly malty and nothing really all that offensive. Appearance was light yellow in color, decent fluffy head. Mouthfeel was light, barely noticeable so I guess that can be a good thing. Flavor was mostly unremarkable, but mainly sweet with a good dose of corn going around. Not a bad beer.

No foam and a bit too pale yellow for lager. Taste is sweet, even too sweet. Everything is too much in this beer. Aftertaste reminds me of sweet corn or something.

Canned. Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is weak grass and malts. Flavour is sweet sugar and some malts. Hops grows in finish. Wellbalanced, but a bit sweet.

Good traditional lager: solid yellow color, rich bubbly foam, intense bitter taste with mild ending, malty aroma and long lasting fresh-bitter aftertaste. Well balanced beer. One of the best beer from Russia.
