I really like the spice flavor of this beer but it falls a little short in my mouth. It is quite light bodied and it disappears quickly. Overall, I enjoy it and would buy again but it's definitely not a favorite... a decent seasonal.

Pours a clear golden-orange colour with an average head that does not leave much. Aromas and flavours are like pumpkin pie. Nutmeg spices and some nice sweetness in the taste. Like pumpkin pie in a glass. Does get a little rich, but a pretty nice pumpkin ale overall.

Pours a clear golden body with medium carbonation and minimal head or lace. Aroma of allspice, it seems much more 'crisp' than other beers. Flavor has the same spice to it and lots of honey with very little pumpkin. Rather unusual for a pumpkin beer, kinda like a pumpkin soda, but its not bad..

Pours out a hazy gold color with a light white head. The aroma smells just like a pumpkin pie. The mouthfeel is just a little thin but not bad. The taste is all malt and spices and is really good.

Sampled on draft at Pete's. Pours copper with a creamy head. Subtle pie spice aroma. Slightly sweet with mild spice. Easy to drink for the style. Excellent.

Pours medium to dark hazy orange/copper with a moderate off-white head. The pumpkin-pie-spice aroma is very nice - the standout part of this beer experience. Thin body is not very appealing and doesn't match the aroma. Flavor is OK, but lacking compared to aroma.

Can you say "All-splce"? This could be the most pumpkin-pie-like tasting pumpkin ale that I have tried. The flavor is actually pretty good, just a little overwhelming and sweet by the end. Once you get past the pumpkin pie taste, there is a little hop at the end. Very pale, thin, clear appearance......slight medium orange tint. A refreshing clean beer...but I think I am through with Pumpkins for this season.

A golden colored beer, not what I’d expect from a pumpkin infused beer. A small, creamy textured white head rises above. No hang time and a thin ringlet is all that eventually is left. The nose is mostly cinnamon. That and some pumpkin ever so slight are in the tasting. Cloves works better in these pumpkin spiced ale, but this was a decent beer. Heavily carbonated on the tongue.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a big dimpled mug. The bottle date reads "Best Enjoyed Before Feb. 2010" and it was sampled on 9-12-2009. Appearance: Its body has a clear, golden amber color with a thin off white head. The body is full of visible carbonation and still the head quickly fizzles down to just a very thin wispy layer. Lacing is minimal and very slick. Smell: The aroma is very pleasing but light. There are notes of cinnamon toast, light grain and apple cinnamon cereal. Taste/Palate: Like the aroma the flavor is light bodied and a little thin. Also there is no real pumpkin flavor. It does have a nice apple cinnamon crumb cake/carrot cake like taste. The finish is quick and fairly clean with maybe just a little bit of sweet spice hanging on. It has lots of active carbonation and with its thin texture it makes for a fizzy feel on the tongue. Notes: If this was just a spiced ale with a little more body I would love it. However as a Pumpkin Ale it is rather boring.

This one was a bit of a disappointment for a pumpkin spiced brew. There was no head what-so-ever on top of the bright orange fluid. The only thing this had going for it was the pumpkin/cinnamon aromas, that quite honestly, were not all that pungent. Shipyard Pumpkin had a cider-like quality to it, with a pumpkin flavor that saved the it from being a complete disaster of a beer. It was very dry, heavily carbonated and biscuit like. It still reminded me of Thanksgiving day desert, but I have had better pumpkin brews.

Strong aroma is mainly spicy, mostly cinnamon, and a little sweet, more like a cinnamon roll than a beer thought there is just an undertone of malt. It pours a clear straw yellow with a nice thick white head. Flavor is rather wan, a little malty with just a whisper of pumpkin and cinnamon. Texture is bubbly and a little fizzy. This is not a beer that I am going to seek out again.
