Very opaque (just hope this is what it is supposed to be) with white lacing foam head. Aroma is weak wheat. Taste is bit sparkling, wheat and some fruit. (Frankfurt 201403)

Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is slightly sour wheat along with some slight yeasty and bready notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same with the sourness becoming more and more evident the more the beer warms up.

Pours out in a cloudy dark brown colour with a lively beige foam. The aroma is dominated by cloves and mashed bananas with hints of nuts and cocoa. Light-bodied with notes ofbanana, cloves and almonds. Mild spicy finish of yeast, cloves, vanilla and banana.

From notes. Pours a cloudy dark walnut brown, with a frothy two finger head that settles slowly to a thick cap. Even with so much foam, the lacing is almost nonexistent. Smell; very strong clove aroma in this one, with hints of banana, and a little bubblegum. A sweet malty backbone round outs out the aroma a little. Taste; as with the aroma, this has a very strong clove flavor with some grassy notes as well. The banana is there, it's just a little overwhelmed by the cloves, but the caramel malts do come out a bit as this gets a little warmer. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a fairly soft carbonation, but this isn't the easiest for me to drink with such an overwhelming presence of cloves.

500 ml bottle, in Berlin. Hazy brown colour, moderate head. Moderate caramel and banana aroma. Bready and moderately malty flavour with faint hints of caramel, bananas and cloves. Relatively dry. Short aftertaste.

I really liked this beer. Definately a dunkelweizen lots of yeasty notes with some banana flavors. Better than the one Mr. tomness handed me with tea, toast, and cake. Overall not too bad.
