Deep and dark colored, cloudy with yeast. Brewed with a darker roasted malt which adds some maltiness to the refreshing flavour of the Hefe-Weissbier.

poured a dark rusty color with a freaking beautiful big brown head nice lacing as well. The aroma and flavor were wheat and malt. Clove, pepper and other spices were there.

Aroma is nice and strong and malty, some hints of yeast. Pours an interesting orangy-brown amber with a fairly thick and persistent head. Flavor is well-rounded, malty and wheaty with a strong undertone of lemon. Very smooth and refreshing, one of the best hefe-weisses I have ever tried.

Pour it slow it foams up like a son of a gun with a big white head. The aroma is full of malt and pear. The mouthfeel is just a little thin and very smooth. The flavor is refreshing and just a tad sweet.

Pours a slightly murky brown with a 2 inch foamy khaki head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Thick foamy rings of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of wheat toast, spices, and some slight banana aromas. Taste is of wheat, spices, brown sugar, and subtle banana on the finish. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel.Overall its a nice beer thats worth a try.

Pours a hazy golden straw, lots of bubbles streaming to the top, with a thick white puffy head that sticks around for a long time, some lacing too. The aroma is of wheat, yeast and banana. The taste is similar to the aroma and is mostly wheat and yeast with banana in the middle, some clove/spices also but very mild. Classic flavor that is always welcome. The mouthfeel is as carbonated as it looks, with medium carbonation and a light body, quite refreshing and very drinkable.

An OK malt liquor, this one doesn't have all the flavors of their plain hefe. The malt taste is strongest out of this, but it's kind of a tame flavor. Banana is hiding behind it, and... that's it. No complaints on this one, a solid dunkel.

Much the same as the original version of the same name albeit darker in color. Good wheat malt base with nice banana flavors and aromas. Perfect for hot summer days when you are looking for something a bit sweet and refreshing.

It pours a hazy dark-brown with thick light-tan head and some lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, citrus zest, and rich mix of spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, citrus, banana, bread & yeast, and spiciness. Very good!

500 ml bottle. Poured in the original Franziskaner vase a hazy amber brown or mid-brown colored Hefeweizen with a three fingers slight beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention. Average carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is wheat caramelized malts, fruity, bananas and spicy, licorice, cinnamom, cloves. The flavour is caramel malts, dried fruits, nuts, toffee, molasses, chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, weaky bitterness. The mouthfeel is very smooth and a bit too sweety for my palate. This light to medium bodied Hefeweizen has a caramel sticky malty finish. T
