Unser Seppelsche in der Bügelverschlussflasche mit dem Plopp wird mit besonderen Malzen gebraut. Die Spezialmalze erhalten bereits beim Darrprozess (Trocknung nach der Keimung) einen karamellisierten Anteil. Diese feinen Karamellnoten finden sich als harmonische Aromen in der Qualität des fertigen Bieres wieder. Im Ergebnis ein bernsteinfarbenes, vollmundiges, ausgewogenes Bier.

Jan. 2018: 330 ml swingtop bottle, from El Corte Ingles. Santa Cruz de Tenerife. ABV is 5.6%. Clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Malty and grainy aroma with hints of caramel, also notes of herbal German hops. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is first citrussy and refreshing, then malty, grainy and dusty, ending dry with moderate hops.

Clear light orange with small white foam head. Aroma is heavy barley with small sweet. Taste is bittersweet with yeast and alcohol tones, some grass. Aftertaste is short little bittersweet, barley again. (Velp 201212)
