In my 26 oz crystal clear plastic cup. A little lighter than a ’dark’ beer. Did not taste like 7%, much smoother. Just a little more bitter than I expected for a doppel. Also, I was very happy with my variety case from Schell; pale ale, octoberfest, pilsner, caramel boch, firebrick, maifest, doppelbock, zommerfest, etc. Wow what a variety…..loved it. Schell has some of the best looking labels, too!

Pours a orangish yellow with no head to think of. Nicely carbonated and the body is crystal clear. Aroma is malty and slightly dry to the nose. Taste is malty but light. Slightly bitter when it hits your throat and finishes off dry. Good drinker if anything.

I sat at a bar(Rodneys 5++) in New Ulm one day (all day) and had about 10 of these. Super Drunk!!! Each one did taste better and better. A light tasting bock, with an awesome blonde aroma. It looks awesome in a glass.

Was a bit more stronger than I would have liked. It is a lot lighter than a traditional bock, but as far as everything else goes it is the same. Not great, but not bad either.

Mildly hoppy. Not what one would expect from a dopplebock, blonde or otherwise. An ok drinker, nothing special.
