for me this is the ultimate beer. crisp aroma with a nice head and great carbonation. tastes high on the palate on initial tasting leaving room for lower palate action as the initial taste decays slowly. enjoyable in any circumstance from thirst quenching mid-day drink to crisp, yet full bodied, night-time social drinking. viva san miguel!

Clear golden yellow with white frosty foam head. Aroma is typical pale, taste is rather smooth. A real smooth, soft beer with decent taste. Short small bitter taste. (Velp 201212)

When poured in it's original glass it forms a small foam head that disappears directly and leaves no lacing. It has little aroma and when tasted you will notice that the taste is well balanced but without any special hints or notes. It's easy to drink and enjoyable but certainly not the best beer.

eh. nothing "especial" here. i don't think i liked this even as much as the regular lager, which was a 2.0. pale, corny (not in a good way). very bland, if not entirely offensive.

Pours pale straw color with a little carbonation. Smell is grainy with a hint of formaldehyde. Taste is more hoppy than I expected. Sweet, thick and grainy as well. Finish is metallic and medicinal. This beer gives me a headache.

This pale lager pours a bright, clear golden body with a medium sized white floral head. Has aromas of straw and pear. Particularly grainy. well balanced with a soft hop taste in the finish.

I had this beer when I was on Vacation in Spain. It reminded of Bud Light of Miller Light. Nothing wrong with them but just no WOW this is a good Spanish Beer.

What do you expect from a country with a huge winemaking tradition? This is just swill, ok for the beach or a barbie, but nothing to really reccommend itself. Some malt taste and hint of hops at finish. give me rioja any day

La primera cerveza española para mí. Y bien es una cerveza de tipo tradicional. Pale yellow color, average white head with some lacing. Fresh malty, hoppy and grassy aroma. Enough nice and tempting. Watery and fresh in a mouth. I also found it slightly spicy. It's a malty beer. Some hoppy bitterness, but the sweetness is more emphasized. Some barley and maize patches. Taste is full, but not perfectly balanced - somehow goes rancid at the end. Anyway, cold it should be good during hot summer days. One more lager to enjoy without any gourmand intentions. Vivas!

Not bad, did drink it mostly in Canary Islands and I have to say, that this is probably the best beer in Spain. Ofcourse this beer does not have much of a different taste or something, but it is a good thing to have on a hot summer day.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden, mediumsized white bubbly head. Malt and hops in aroma. Malty, strong taste with notes of bitterness. Not much aftertaste.
