for me this is the ultimate beer. crisp aroma with a nice head and great carbonation. tastes high on the palate on initial tasting leaving room for lower palate action as the initial taste decays slowly. enjoyable in any circumstance from thirst quenching mid-day drink to crisp, yet full bodied, night-time social drinking. viva san miguel!

surprisingly wheaty taste to this beer. not as strong as some of it's central european counterparts. easy to drink and fully refreshing to the parched traveller's lips. to my taste, not as crisp and refreshing as other spanish beers but a winner never-the-less

i tried to come to this one with an open mind.......but.......no taste, straight to a foamy state at the top of the palate. no after taste other than chemicals. i'm not sure if it's completely different from the stateside version (it's 5.0% over her so. 0.1% more...lucky us) but this is REALLY bad. try tennents super lager instead! at least you'll get drunk as well as being a tramp/bum/hobo.

i don't think this is anything too special as a beer.....it lacks the depth of flavour that a strong beer needs to have in my opinion. not so much "premium" as "dreamium". furstenberg acheives the throne that budvar is the pretender to. again, in my opinion.

served straight from the can hence the high appearance mark, it is, after all, an attractive can. this lager offers nothing to the drinker other than assisting them to black-out. do not attempt to drink this lager for a flavour of scottish lager - this is jakey juice.
