Pours out the color of rusty water. I can smell strawberries six feet from the opened bottle.the mouthfeel is very bubbly. The taste is like a bottle of strawberry soda pop. This is interesting but less of a fruit beer and closer to being. A cross between a wine cooler and a soda pop.

My favorite beer from this brewery. Has a great reddish amber color, with a strong strawbeery aroma. for a fruit beer this beer is decently malty with a slight hint of bannas???, has a great texture. One word of warning if you don't like strawberries avoid this beer, if you do buy several.

THIS is a much better fruit beer than my last one (Abita Strawberry Lager) - pours a clear ruby red-gold with a decent pinkish-white head and good lacing; well carbonated. Pleasant fresh sweet and tart strawberry aroma, light but straightforward lager nose with decent light hops presence. Taste is fresh, light strawberries, some tartness and sweetness, decent lager flavor too, with very light but fresh hops presence, not overly sweet but still noticeable and definite Strawberry. Very nice spring beer - Glad I tried it and would drink it again for certain.

This is a beautiful beer! Strawberries all over the place, as if they were fresh from the vine. Slight tingle on the toungue, effervescent like a champagne, not as dry though. This does not smell or taste like beer, however as a beverage standing alone it is a fine feat of brewing, just acidic enough to be lively, so natural tasting and smelling and with enough body to feel like your drinking something better and more complicated than fruit juice. It is sweet, but nicely and appropriately so, even so much that I would not expect a hangover from 10 of them. It impresses me that a brewer is capable of the taddy porter, the raspberry, the impy stout and this. Not pigeon holed flavour profiles at all.

355 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 5.1%. The colour is more brown than red, with a moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of strawberry jam and artificial "strawberry" candy, not fresh strawberries. The flavour has also notes of strawberry jam, but is not quite as sweet as I feared, and there are actually some hints of malts and hops to remind you that this is a beer. Refreshing when cold.

A must if your a strawberry guy, or gal. This brew is much more complex than a malt liquor beverage, but be warned that there is much more than a hint of strawberries here. The fruit flavor is rather natural, color is slightly pink and nicely sweet, it even went well with spaghetti and basal sauce.

Sampled on 12/9/2009. This fruit beer pours a light strawberry color from a 550ml bottle. Medium to large sized white foamy head, with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is strawberries, malt and sweet. A medium bodied fruit beer. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of sweet to semi sweet strawberry flavors. Not a lot of hops. It’s a little too sweet for me. It would be better with some hops or some tartness. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

don’t want to know how my friend knows this, but this beer smells like an "11 year old’s lip gloss". admittedly it was a natural strawberry aroma, but one you could smell from across the room once it was poured. holy cow. the color was a little reminiscant of a wine cooler with a thin-medium body and a strong strawberry and malt flavor, and little else. not as dynamic or complex as the raspberry or cherry. also not something i’d turn down on a hot day, but not something i’ll buy again at $5.99 either. well crafted, just not my thing.

Pours a clear, slightly reddish golden amber with a fairly thick but not persistent pale yellow-orange head. Aroma is strong, but the strawberry scent overwhelms it. I love strawberries, but I still prefer beer that smells like beer. Flavor, however, is fairly malty with a strong fruity overtone of strawberry and hints of banana. Texture is fairly smooth and tingly. OK if you like strawberries.

Bottled. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is strawberries and wood along with some sour hints. Flavour is semisour strawberries. Slight artificial notes, but overall a quite nice fruit beer.
