Aroma is - well, hard to describe. There are tones of hops, barleywine, fruit, and even a little caramel. It pours a clear, slightly coppery amber with a fairly thick and fluffy off-white head that hangs around for a while. Flavor fills the mouth with fruit - mainly apple - and malt, with a touch of hops and quite the alcohol nip. Texture is lively and fizzy. leaving behind a nice tingle.

Sampled on 7/2/2011. This Belgian Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with nice retention and good lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of bread and some yeast. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, apricots and oranges, bread and some banana. The hops are herbal and earthy, a touch spicy. Nice lively carbonation. Very sweet, but also very hoppy so this beer is only slightly on the sweetish side. Some coriander and pepper as well. A pretty nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some spiciness.

It pours a light copper with a thick and foamy dark-white head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, lots of citrus and other fruits - fruit cocktail, medium breads, bananas, cherries, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, citrus and other fruits, bananas, medium breads, cherries, apricots, and spiciness. Very tasty!

a nice beer overall. good body with a hint of alcohol. fruit esters and citrusy hops duel with the spicy yeast in the aroma and flavor. orange and coriander are a tad overkill, but despite their presence, this is a tasty brew.

A very nice spirited Belgian-type ale. Pours medium golden to orange with a faint head that laces into perpetuity. Spicy hoppy aroma with falvor to match. Slightly sweet up front fading to a pleasant bitterness at the finish.

The third beer of the 23rd Longshot mixed six pack. Some citrus hops and yeast in the aroma, kinda light. Golden orange body, a very thin head, with little lacing. Flavor is about the same as the aroma with some fruit and heat in it. Overall its not bad, it just doesn't float my boat.

A orange-amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising above. There was great hang time on this one. It settles eventually into a thick ringlet and splotches of film. The nose is yeasty and sweet fruity. The tasting adds pepper to that. A medium bodied beer. What a thirst quencher.

3rd sample from the Category 23 Longshot variety pack. All 3 were solid. This is a decent representation of a Belgian. Not the fullest of flavors, but what is there tastes nice. Has some sweet-fruity, and the yeasty-wheaty flavors...but also leans towards the bitter side. Hopped nicely. Appearance is medium-orange to light brown...semi-clear. Props to the 3 brewers in this variety pack.

Let me tell you something, little Miss... Advertising pays our bills, alright... advertising pays your salary... advertising is what made this country great... What was the Constitution of the United States?... No! It is an advertisement... an advertisement for liberty... when in the course of human events... I'm telling you... that's up there with 'Put a Tiger in your tank' and 'Where's the beef'... Don't you understand? I'm sorry... I've got to get some air... Hell if it wasn't for advertising... you know what you two'd be doing, huh? You two'd be giving out Sesame Street tote bags during PBS pledge breaks... 'cept they wouldn't say Sesame Street on them.. Nooo... they wouldn't say that... that would be....? ADVERTISING!!! That's Right!! Hell, if you two had your way there probably wouldn't even be any Sesame Street would there?... Would there?!! There'd be no Ernie would there... Nooooo.... there'd be no Bert... bye bye, bye bye to Grover... bye bye to Cookie Monster... NO! There'd be no Snuffleupagus, would there, and get that trash can... cause there'd be no Oscar the Grouch... NOT TO MENTION... KERMIT, THE DAMN FROG!!!!
