Very pale yellow in color with a yeasty haze. Head was decent but extremely short-lived. There were some malt notes in the nose, but the overwhelming aroma, flavor and aftertaste was that of wet cardboard. I'd drink a Miller Lite over this if given the choice.

500 ml bottle, as Saku Rock Alternative Premium, from a potential importer. ABV is 5.3%. Pale golden colour, large and lasting white head. Moderate sweetish aroma, some pilsener malts. The flavour is not too sweet, but very bland, and the hops are very moderate. However, there are no offensive off-flavours, and I can see that this beer may "go home" with its apparent target group, young people who are really not into beer yet. Tolerably refreshing when cold.

Canned. Pale golden colour, mediumsized fluffy head. Aroma is metallic, salty and harsh hoppy. Flavour is metallic, harsh hoppy and a rather saltyish finish. Also some vegetables noteable. Boring, plain and one-dimensional.

I'd say, this is the beer for men. It has exactly the right alcohol percentage, good taste and something different from the no. 1 beer of the Saku brewery - Originaal. I suggest You try it. NB! A little bit bitter aftertaste, so if You like more sweet things - don't drink beer!

A little bit better that its "brother" Hard just because of lower alcohol concentration, but anyway as regards taste - no signs of good beer. I think that Saku brewery, which produced many god sorts of beer, tried to make something extremely different, but I don't think that Rock can be a successful product. Anyway it looks attractive but is not worth to try... There many more really good Estonian beers to try!!!
