2019 edition in the Belgian Beer Discovery Box for Christmas 2020. Pours a hazy, golden colour with a big frothy white cap, very long lasting, leaving some creamy lacing spots. Citrus nose with fresh light cut grass and hints of honey, spices. The Styrian Wolf hops in this version shows up more in the taste giving a touch of strawberries, over the malty brew. Some nice spices blend things up. With time, the strawberry notes do come out in the nose. Fairly dry in the finish. Easy-drinking for sure and the dry-hopping helps not being too rich of a Belgian brew. Nice!

Grass, clove, cardomom, bubble gum in the nose. Beautiful looking beer medium gold body slightly foggy, Rocky egg white head lasts forever with amazing lace. Mouth is full, creamy, not quite chewy. Flavor is good the original is a subtle kiss this is a smack in the face. Cardamom a little clove a little bubble gum a little banana, sour finish not unlike a good hefi. Would be great with a nasty cheese and some stinky meat.

Clear yellow, big white lacing foam head. Little sour aroma, fresh. Nice fresh in drinking, little bitter, little sour green apple. Interesting beer. (Arnhem 201606)

The appearance is a golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, vanilla, and spices. The flavor is somewhat sour and dry as advertised with some citrus namely lemons and oranges. There is slight bitterness presence too. Overall I like the original better but this is aight.

Shared magnum bottle at RBNAG 2011, as Saison Dupont Cuvée Dry Hopping, vintage 2011. ABV 6.5%. Hazy straw colour, moderate white head. Grassy hops in the aroma. Decent hoppy bitterness in the flavour. Can’t really say that it’s so much better than the ordinary Saison Dupont - but might be able to tell the difference if I sampled them side by side?

Handbottled (thanks Kike!). Slightly hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, earthy, mildly barnyardy and quite spicy. Flavour is otherwise the same, but also has a bunch of tropical fruity juice like notes and some herbs. Aftertaste is fruity, spicy and yeasty.
