I dunno....this tastes a lot more like a sweet lactose stout vs. a porter. Balanced a bit too sweet towards the chocolate malts, other sugars....maybe some milk/lactose to add some creaminess and extra sweetness. Not really like any other "porters" that I had. Nice dark brown near black appearance. Flavor is still decent and drinkable, thus the rating is what it is...but for the style this has to be below average.
