India Pale was one of the first beers to be exported overseas. Knock Knock Ned, like his brew, spent years entertaining crews of Merchant Seamen. Don't be foolet by his height - this world renowned pirate impersonator with his two wooden legs is as hoppy as his India Pale Ale, and equally as rugged. Ingredients : Water, Barley & Hops. You can't choose your family, but you can choose your beer.

330 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear and amber-orange coloured IPA with a one finger creamy, fine and light beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is caramel malts, toasted notes, faint grassy hops. The flavour is caramel malts, honey and nutty notes, fruity, citrus, some herbal touch, moderate grassy hops. The mouthfeel is light crispy, sweety, even a bit sticky. The texture is oily. This medium bodied IPA has a dry caramel malts, sweety and light bitter finish. Yes, hops are well in the Irish Pale Ale but, if drinkable, we are quite far away from a solid British India Pale Ale.
