Rye River Brewing Company was set up in 2013 by an experienced team from the drinks industry to bring a new range of premium beers to the market. We are delighted to announce we have our brewery in. After long hours and sleepless nights the brewery is in and ready to brew some fantastic beer. We are located in the heart of Kilcock, a town with Brewing and Distilling at it's Heart. The first official record of Brewing & Distilling here date back to May 1595. In the years after, there were at least 3 Breweries in the town, 2 malthouses and 2 Distilleries. Unfortunately, as with most of Ireland, the final traces of beer disappeared out of the town in mid 19OOs when Fields stopped bottling Guiness at the old AIB on the Canal Front. We have brought life back to old Kelly's bakery, a business which itself dates back to the earlier 1700s. We are all about Irish, so much so that all our promotional materials are made locally in Lucan and Kilcock. In fact, our brewery was manufactured in Dundalk, the first complete commercial brewery to be made in Ireland in over 100 years.
