Row 2, Hill 56 is our nod to the 3 Simcoe growing families in Yakima and a reference to the exact location in the experimental hop yard where it was first developed! 100% Simcoe hop pale ale, 5.8% alcohol, and being bottled for the very first time today! Will be released at the pub about 1m this afternoon. Sending a small amount out for local distribution and some to So. Cal, but that’s all we have for now! We only brewed one batch, so it will not be regularly bottled.

Sampled on 6/26/2014 at the Brewpub. This American Pale Ale pours a medium gold amber color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is bready, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruit, cereal and sweet. The hops are citrusy and herbal. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. A touch bready with a nice grassy finish. Crisp and clean. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

First RR brew I had in quite a while. Welcome back friends! Pours a dark golden with a pretty big top. Nose is herbal, grassy, melon and lime notes. Taste is hoppy upfront, cleans out rather nice to a soft juicy finish.

What a womderful start to the evening! Easy drinking Simcoe juice, that's what this is. Nothing more, nothing less. Really showcases the hop well. The aroma is faaaantastic! Mellow for sure, but very floral, grassy aroma with a little pine and spice in there as well. Tasty stuff... Man second time even better...just kicked evil twins ass. 8/12

I love Simcoe, so I'm pumped for this bottle (stamped 6/26 and drinking on 7/8). The pour is a clear orange with a thick foamy white head that caps and leaves sticky lace on the glass. Aroma is mainly citrus, with grapefruit and lemon notes being prevalent. The taste is very mellow, not a hop bomb, just a very well balanced APA, with strong astringent/soapy lemon. This is easy drinking and pleasant, though rather boring. It's very well made, however.

Pours medium yellow with low low white head ringlet. Aroma is pine and grass. Mouthfeel is tart and hoppy. Flavor is grass and pine along with some hops. Nice.
