Sick of maurading armies, our brewer’s ancestors left the Palatinate as refugees in the early 1700s for England, taking the first Palatine ship to New York City, and spread out over cities and country alike, establishing the Rohrbach lines that survive to this day. This beer honours this story, using German malts in an English way with American hops to make a refreshing pale ale, meant to survive the times. Enjoy a Palatine Pale!

On tap at Schnitzels, Cornwall. Pours a small white head with decent sticky lace and has a light golden appearance. Aromas are sweet and grainy malts, hints of corn. Flavours are fairly similar to aromas, sweet malty notes, a bit of corn and grassy hints. Average carbonation. Medium retention. Good mouthfeel.
