Clear, darker amber colour with caramel highlights, a light-beige head, decent stay and some foamy streaks of lacing. Big, sweet nose with brown sugars, caramel, dark fruit notes, hints of bananas and smokiness. The smoked malt comes out a bit more in the flavours with the wheat-banana. The sweetness is cut by the hops, so not sticky, nor syrupy. Gets a tad hazed at the last pour. Lots of caramel in the taste with a bit of grassiness. Not getting much of the smokiness though. A decent Scotch Ale that is easy, with just a touch of smoke.
