Pours dark with short, airy cask head; thick lacing to trail. The aroma blends roasted malt and sweet graininess. Molasses and licorice start out the flavor, vanilla and oak notes highlight as it warms and the beer winds down with a dry, bitter coffee finish. Much more complex and exciting than my description credits. Medium-to-full bodied, perfect natural carbonation, amazingly smooth. Remarkably good, a grand tribute to American Craft Beer Week.
