500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a Bavarian Seidla a clear and ruby-brown coloured Märzen with a one finger beige and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, notes of caramel and spicy with a touch of licorice. The flavour is toasted malts, caramel, bready, brown sugar and flowery, violets. The mouthfeel is light crispy, quite thick and sweety. The texture is oily. This medium bodied Märzen has a dry roasted malts and sweety finish. A decent and drinkable Märzen from the Rhön mountains, but without fun.
