This heller bock pours a deep orange gold color from a 50cl bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with good retention. The aroma is caramel and fruity. A medium bodied heller bock. The malts are caramel and fruity. It is a little on the sweet side, but not overly so. The hops are earthy and slightly spicy. Nicely balanced. Lively carbonation. Nice beer, nothing really outstanding here, but a very enjoyable beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Poured beautifully with generous thick head that had lots of staying power. Sweet and maybe a bit dusty(in a good way) to the nose. Killer colour which was closer to orange than amber that makes you want to pound this back, but take your time and enjoy cause its very easy drinking. Quite malty as expected. 6.9%?? Couldve fooled me - I didnt even notice - defenetly a good sign. I think I'll go and open the second bottle.
