A bottom-fermented beer, whose color is very good type-fairly and the foam. Via the storage time of at least 8 weeks the final fermentation takes place, what to the pure smell and the pure and pleasantly vollmundigen taste, which soft and very rounded off drunkenness leads.

Had in bottle at d.b.a in New Orleans .. . Pours a medium yellow gold .. medium foam, medium lacing .. . some cereal and hay .. mildly refreshing .. . . pretty good but just your average helles .. . No offense but you're a decripped monkey skeleton!

A rather light and refreshing beer, it does have an interesting nose of oats and sweet fruit. Appearance was yellow in color, nice head with little retention. Mouthfeel was light as a feather very clean finish. Flavors were very smooth, slightly hopped, some malty sweetness but not too much. Overall something that can be consumed over and over and still be interesting and refreshing.

Light gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, slightly floral hops. A medium bodied dort/helles. Malts are fruity and sweet with some floral hops. Hops are floral and herbal. Smooth taste. A light and refreshing summer beer. Very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Light and reasonably refreshing, but a bit thin in the mouthfeel department. Grainy in the front, with an odd "mildewy" texture in the backend (or aftertaste, if you will).

I like the extensive lacing this beer produced on the insides of my Spaten München 1999 Oktoberfest 0,5L glass, and it is indeed an easily drinkable Helles. But with the quirky aftertaste, and rather indifferent mouthfeel, this really isn't all that exceptional.

Definately in the "middle of the pack", as far as decent Helles Lagers go, IMO.
