There's nothing like a good English porter, and a mosked one at that. This one misses the mark for me however. A nice dark brown pour with a tight creamy brown head, but the lacing is weak. Any aroma of smoke must have been left in the can because I'm not getting any. There are hints of vanilla and molasses among the roasted malt notes. Mouthfeel is weak for a porter, another disappointment. Flavor is typical of a non-smoked stout with hints of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and vanilla.
