Hops: Warrior Malts: 2-Row, Medium Crystal, Dark Crystal, Roasted Barley, Chocolate Malt, Flaked Oats Yeast: House Ale Adjuncts: Lactose Sugar, Coffee Beans Brewed with a mix of roasted and caramel malts, and a touch of flaked oats for a complex malt character. We added a crazy amount of lactose sugar for a very creamy body and slightly sweet note to balance the Colombian coffee beans added in after fermentation. These beans were specially roasted for us by Epic North Coffee Roasters right here in Barrie, and add a vibrant, rich coffee character with notes of toasted sugar, citrus, and chocolate. The beer seamlessly blends the flavours of the coffee with the roasted malts for a fairly luxurious taste. The coffee contributes sweet, familiar dark chocolate, and roasted notes. Pours black, with a thick mocha head. Medium carb complements and enhances the creamy mouthfeel. Low bitterness.
