July 2010 - On tap at Portsmouth Brewpub. Alright, I’m going to give props. This is pretty good. Poor is hazy gold with some decent lacing. Aroma is cloves, unexpected. My usual criticism of Redhook is that the beer are pedestrian and bland. This shows some creativity. A grainy malt profile spiced with heavy cloves like a german Hefe. Heck, I like it! I’d at least say if you have the opportunity, go get one. It’s unique!
