Redhook Game Changer Ale is a sessionable ale with rich color to distinguish it as craft, just enough hops to cut the spiciness of wings, and the right amount of malt to cool the burn.

    Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Pours a cloudy amber color with a little bit of transparency, a nice sized off white head at the top that leaves just a little bit of lacing around the glass. The aroma is a little sweet and a little roasty, the malts are present and a little hint of caramel as well. The taste up front has a strong taste of biscuit and caramel, with a good roast from the malts, slight notes of fresh hops. The mouthfeel is light bodied, just a little bit of carbonation and a bit sticky as well.

Comes out of the tap a clear, dark amber with a fairly thick and fluffy ivory head that leaves generous lacing. Malty aroma has a nice hoppy underpinning and just a hint of pomme fruit. Strongly malty flavor has hints of hops, wood and yeast plus a snippet of apple. Texture is rather fizzy, if not too thick. Enjoy this one during the game!
