pours thin, no beer-like head or lacing. goes down like a apple cider. sweet. a bit too sweet for my tastes, but not necessarily unpleasant. i'm not sure why it says ale on the bottle.

Fizzy body with a cola-esque pour leaving no head or lacing. Apple cider aroma with a touch of grassy malt, decent to the nose. From the aroma it's nothing but chemically enhanced fake flavors and feeling. Wouldn't be surprised if no actual apples are used in this creation. I could sense my body rejecting this libation in self-defense......sorry internal organs, I'll never do it again.

Color is similar to apple cider. Pleasant apple aroma. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Apple taste is perfect...not too sweet but enough to be enjoyable. Certainly better ones are out there however.

Ok so i love hornsby so when i saw this, i decided to for go my usual craft beer intellect for this brew. It was no doubt made to be crisp when opening and too easy to drink. I thought that for sure i was in for a headache but no, just a little unsatisfied with it. Although very refreshing it lacked a satisfing taste that i needed and didnt get. The flavor was nice but i felt a hit of Bud Light Lime which i lament so that flavor was not appealing at all. overall, it was ok

Yet another macrobrew offering masquerading as a craft brew. Crisp aroma is more like a hard cider than an ale. Pours a clear, wan straw yellow, with a fairly thick head that does not stick around long at all. Flavor is quite cider-like, fairly sweet, not really like a beer at all. If this was a cider, this would be fine - but a beer otter taste like a beer. Thin texture has only average fizz. Well, I had to try it, and the rest can always go to a party.

A golden color with no head. Its like cider with a hint of swill going on. Its confused. A taste of apples with some sweet corn flavor going on. I won’t complain because this is working as a kick arse hangover cure.

Overall I found this to be quite nice. There was a good balance not too sweet but not bordering on vinegar. It reminded me some Somerset ciders I tried in the UK but not as good. It pairs really well with cheddar.

pours a clear, medium golden orange in color, with a coarse, white head, which quickly collapses. There is no lacing whatsoever, and only slight carbonation. The amoma is of apple juice, perhaps Granny Smith and Jonathan apples. The apple note is predominately tart, with an underlying sweetness, similar to Red Delicious apples. The taste opens with a punch of tart apple juice, Followed by a wave of slight spices, perhaps cinnamon and ginger, with a little apple rind late in the taste. Finishes with a slight, lingering sweetness. No hop presence whatsoever was noted. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft, fairly pleasant and light bodied. This is misleading it's not an ale but a hard cider.

Had side by side with an actual apple (Mcintosh if you wonder), and the apple outperformed in all areas. The only thing I hold against the apple is that its good for me and had no trace of alcohol in it. The beer was oversweet, lacked in nose and flavor, too synthetic in all areas. Luckily it does have booze in it, so not a total loss.

Does taste more like apple cider than beer, but i have no idea of the process here. Bubbly feel. No alcohol showing, but it's a pretty generic apple sweetness and not much else. I like apple, so it's not horrid, but like I said, more like a wine cooler than a beer, or even a cider. Meh.
