The Platform Series is a recipe that is determined from the winning entry in our Annual Homebrew Competition. This past year Geordan Saunders and Andy Wagner presented a delicious Belgian Style Double. Featuring 7 premium malts, it was an enjoyable beer to brew, and most of all enjoy with friends and beer enthusiasts.

Pours no head whatsoever and has a dark brown appearance. No lacing at all. Aromas of sweet malts and earthy type hops. Flavours are fairly random, some caramel malts and earhty hops. Average carbonation. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Pint at the Arrow & the Loon. Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a white head and nice lacing. Fruity malt aromas with hoppy grass. The taste is hoppy with fruity malts in the finish. Not so much Belgian, but a well-balanced IPA-style brew.
