A festive lager that pours a golden/orange colour which is very similar to apricot in colour. On the nose, the aroma presents with a prominent ginger spiciness slightly subdued but more prominent on the finish. The malt characteristic is slight biscuit but you need to look for it. It is brewed with Bala Ontario cranberries and local ginger. The flavour of the beer is complemented by the warmth of the finger as it presents with a sweet citrus tangerine or mandarin orange flavour before finishing with the tartness of the cranberries. This is an effervescent beer that is both warming and refreshing, a perfect combo after shoveling snow on those cold winter days.

The beer pours a slightly hazed light copper colour with a light tan coloured head that quickly recedes to a ring. The aroma is tangy cranberries, grass, and floral hop scents. The mouthfeel is weak to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is really just a grainy lager with a hint of tangy cranberries thrown in. The beer was canned 3 weeks ago, but the fruity freshness isn’t there. -

Comes in their Holiday Gift Pack for Christmas 2014 (with 2 other cans of different beer and a glass). Pours a clean amber colour with a warm cap, decent retention and some foamy lace. Diacetyl aromas with lots of caramel over the weak fruity background. No cranberries at all in the taste. At least, no diacetyl in here. Just mostly cereal grains. Very, very light sweet-sourness in the finish. Cranberries... really ?!?? Just a regular cereal brew.

Pours a good size frothy off-white head but doesn't stay around very long. Has a light rusty amber appearance. Weak lacing. Light toasty malt aromas with very faint hints of berries. Flavours are sweet, malty and some fruity notes, mainly from berries. Cranberry is very faint, a bit too much in the background. The ginger is about the same. A bit disappointing. Some fairly subtle citrus notes as well. Good retention. Slight tarty mouthfeel and also a bit of an astringent sensation on the palate. Still pretty refreshing.
