Pours light medium brown with little to no head, just a ringlet. Tons of suspension. Nutty and malty, sweet is the order of the day. All in all OK but ...meh, too many better beers out there.

Pours an average brown color with a thin rapidly disapating head and decent lacing. Toffee and malt aroma with a hint of yeast. On the thin side on the pallette for what I typically like in a brown. Toasted malt flavor with a hint at the yeats there as well. Sweetness gives way to a slightly bitter ending. Thanks, Lou.

Good brown with plenty of caramel, nuts, and buttered toast throughout. Medium to light bodied, very approachable and damn drinkable. Good looking pour with a dark amber body and large off-white head. Goes down easy.

Via trade from bluesandbarbq, nice aromas of caramel, with hints of nuts, and a touch of chocolate. The flavor gravitates more towards bread and a little caramel, a bit on the thin side however, its decent enough. Thanks Lou!

Pours a nice dark slightly hazy mahogany with a VERY thick tan head - my sample fizzed like crazy. Decent aroma is malty, fruity and a little yeasty. Malty flavor has a faint caramel undertone as well as cloves and cinnamon hints. Texture is smooth and somewhat fizzy, leaving a tingly and malty finish.

The aroma first off is a bit weak with some decent malty profiles that make way for a bit of caramel and biscuit but that is about it. The appearance is actually not all that bad and is a nice reddish-amber to orange when held to the light but has a very small head on top that diminishes to a light and bubbly lacing that is bleach white in color and coats the glass for the most part. The mouthfeel is way too light-bodied for my taste and for a brown ale in my opinion and is almost watery with some mildly malty complexity with muted hoppy balance if any at all with a palate that is at least refreshing and watery but needs more body. The flavor is buscuity and caramelly with some very faint toastiness coming through with an aftertaste that is wet-like and very thin and just needs much more taste and complexity with a finish that is watery with some faint maltiness swirling around. Overall, I am disappointed by this brew and this brew is really just boring and subpar with no lasting characteristics in my book with exception to the color...very average and subpar brew here but is still very drinkable and they would be good for pounding on a hot day.

Bottle from MCrapps. Pours a dark tea brown with a medium head and some lacing. Good carbonation. Some nuts and decent amount of slightly sweet malts in the aroma with a bit of hops. Taste is a little thin with a malty base and a slightly bitter finish.
