Also known as Northern Lager, this is nothing to write home about. Pale yellow in colour with a fast disappearing huge white head. The aroma is grass, hops, and acid. The flavour is more grass, metal, and burnt toast! Cheap beer....cheap thrills!

Pours pale yellowy gold with a medium white head that fades to nothing quickly. Some avtive carbontion and a small mount of slopy lacing. A friend of mine brought this back for me from St. Johns where he's been working. My bottle looks different than the one pictured but I'm sure it's the right beer. Aroma is bland, just a touch of hops. The flavour isn't bad but it's not great, nothing really stands out about this one, standard lager beer flavour. Light crisp mouthfeel goes down like water, you can drink these all night.

Another high kwalitie swill brought to you buy Newfoundland. Decent light gold brew with touches of amber, a crap load of massive slow moving bubbles and a fizzy white cap with little retention. Smells of odd sweet malts and a dull baked apple taste take one back to a time when you could pick up hotties on your fishing boat. Taste is decent enough with ok malts and some bitter substandard hops. Non-offensive, boring and bland tasting but easy to consume on those nights when you are lost at sea. Light to medium modied with a classic Canadian Lager mouthfeel except it lacks the crappy aftertaste that most Canadian swills have. Some early bitterness and soft carbonation. I assume it goes good with Seal Fin Pie.

Crystal clear body, with a small white noisy cap that’s disappearing fast, the body isn’t really gold in color more of a honey brown. Creamy smelling hops, with lots of malt, and there was this out of place sweet strawberry aroma in there to, this beer is surprisingly good smelling maybe not good smelling different in a good way is more accurate. Mild bitter hops, clean tasting malts, and just like in the smell there is a strange strawberry presence. I’m surprised about the noticeable hop presence you normally don’t find that in these cheap domestics. Good brew, not a great one and for the price of free that I paid for it well worth the money.
