Beach Chair Lager is the first canned craft beer ever produced in Atlantic Canada. An ode to malt and hops, our approachable craft lager is made with only top quality Canadian Pilsner malts, spicy European noble hops, and lager yeast. After lengthy cold-conditioning, the resulting clean character allows the malt and hops to sing out! Grab a chair and sing along.

Can. Colour - a very clear pale yellow colour with a short-lived frothy whiite head which lasts 3-5 seconds at most. Aroma - stale grains, wet cardboard, metal, and must. Mouthfeel - thin and watery, well carbonated. Flavour - water with hints of Molson Canadian in the mix. This was the first canned craft beer product in the Maritimes, and I think I have one of the first ones off the line!

Has a very subtle grassy nose that gives way to a thin head that dissipates quickly and has a very typical pale look/colour to it. A tad better out of the glass but not by much. Average but tasty brew.

Purchased a can at the NB Liquor on my trip to the Maritimes. Pours a clean golden colour with a white cap, decent stay and lacing. Grainy malt smell with some weird water (metallic or something different). The taste has a lot of the same with that different note from the commercial hops. Not really liking this one.

Got a tallboy at the NSLC in Halifax. Pours a small foamy head and has a pale yellow/golden appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of barley, grains and wheats. Flavours are mainly grainy and malty with notes of grassy type hops. Average retention. Light bodied. Quite refreshing but ultimately a bit of a disappointment being very common and not much to set it apart. Still good for the patio on a hot day.
