A bit bigger, hoppier, and roastier than their European predecessors. This dry beer is medium to full bodied, moderately malty, and features a lightly burnt taste with chocolate or coffee flavors.

Pours a very dark amber with a 2 finger head that goes down fairly quick. Big bubble carbonation. Aroma is soapy with hints of dark roasted malts and other grains. Taste is metallic with slight hints of roasted malts. Finishes off dry and slightly sticky. Fairly bland. Not very good.

Nice porter from phishpond. Nearly black pour with a medium cream head. Nice lacing. Toasted malts, molasses, earthy hops aroma. Taste si slightly creamy - a god thing - with medium body toasted malts, lightly burnt but sweet molasses, light bitter finish. Nice porter - Thanks Travis.

Great brew from Potosi, pours a dark brownish black, clear, small brown head. Aroma is chocolatey, toffee and coffee like. Toast, earth and rich dark fruit notes on the palate. Nice smooth finish.
