July 2010 - On cask at brewpub, advertised as "brewed with Centennial hops". Looks like apple juice with an orangey tint, some nice lacing. Very malty and sweet, with a lot of pear and light fruit. There are a lot a lot of weird flavors...pineapple, dusty wooden chest. Finishes with a graininess that hangs on the tongue. Very little bitterness...I’m thinking the regular tap version would be preferrable as this could use some kind of crispness to it to balance out the sweetness. I’d think this would be a great beer for womenfolk who typically don’t like beer.
