Port City Oktoberfest is a traditional Märzen style lager, brewed with all German malts and hops. This beer is amber in color, with malty, gently sweet flavors of crusty bread, leading to a clean dry finish with a touch of noble hops. Our Oktoberfest is served in the 'keller' or 'Zwickel' style and is unfiltered.

This brew had a great German lager taste! I side kicked it with a vegetable homemade pizza but wish, instead, I would have had a plate of Wiener Schnitzel! Not my first preference in beers but I enjoyed this one from Port City Brewery, located in my Alexandria, VA backyard. I would definitely drink this one again but serve a German-style dish with this brew! Port City hasn't let me down yet! Bravo!

Another FoamDome contribution. Copper amber pour, white head, nice lacing. Malty aroma, lightly sweet, adequate earthy hops presence. Nice flavor, lightly sweetened malts, a touch of breadiness, good hops bitter linger, although very light. Solid O'fest. Thanks Dave.
