Bottle pours with a clear gold colored body that supports a thin white head. Sweet aroma of cereal, sugar malt sweetness and faint vague hoppiness. Carbonation creates an initial bite of hop bitterness and tartness before the sweet malts and cereal notes buckle down and take over.

Pours clear solar yellow with a thick snowy head. Aroma has crisp malt and subtle funky and fruity tones. Flavor gives crisp fresh malt, funk, and shy fruity tones. Texture offers fair body and fizz. Well, let's try to help the folks in Venezuela.

12 ounce bottle at World of Beer, Key West. Pale straw pour, lots of carbonation, essentially no head. Barely an aroma, grassy is all there was. Corn flavour, maybe some malt. Flaccid mouthfeel, jagged finish. Endured this torture for the sake of rating a new country.

Clear yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is barley dominated. Taste is a pale ale, nothing outstanding. A regular beer, but a new country added to the list. (Velp 201308)

It pours a pale straw golden color with a fast-fading fizzy white head. Some trailing lace. A grainy cereal smell rises and remains throughout. A decent beer to drink while sitting on a beach in curacco watching the sun set, pairs well with seafood.

Looks like apple juice on pour. Same crisp, clear pale yellow. Beady, airy, sopy white head. Certainly different in character than any other beer head I’d see. Settles quickly into nothing. Smell is rice, cooked and left to chill. It’s that bad. There is actually some body to this. Nothing impressive though, just not watery. Ton of carbonation. The taste has some bitterness and that’s about it. Good thing this was a singular visit to Venezuela.

I used to drink this beer here and there when I was younger, but haven't had it lately. Mostly going on older memories. Contemplated pickin up a 6-pack for something on the cheaper side, but think I'll pass and maybe just buy a single one time if out to eat, so I can get a more updated opnion. I remember it being better than most of the bud-type domestics.....maybe similar to corona, but a slightly different style. Is more like a Pilsner I believe. Not that bad of a beach/lawnmower beer. Nothing more, nothing less.

Pours a bright yellow colour with no head. aroma is kind of depressing, smells like rice or cabbage. Particularly watery, and very grainy on the palate. dissapointing overall.

Poured with some brownish-orange hues to the yellow, not the usual pale yellow look. The head was decent and the lacing pretty good. The aroma was skunky before the pour and after that herbal and vegetable-like. The flavor was a bitter form of the aroma, just not good. Initial sip was a little bit biscuit like, but after that all down hill. Bleh, Venezuela.

Canned (5%). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is maize and cooked vegetables. The same in flavour, with some weird sweetness. Watery. Crappiest of the three Venezuelans we "enjoyed" at the rating session.
