Point Oktoberfest is an authentic Marzen Style lager beer,a style reminiscent of the beers origaginally brewed for the Oktoberfest Celebrations in Germany during the early 1800's. Hand crafted using Hallertauer hops and sweet Vienna roasted malts for a rich amber hue. The result is a full flavored, well balanced, beer brewed in the celebration of the upcoming season.

Good fest bier and perhaps the last one of the season for this guy. For the price it can't easily be beat. A nice dark copper pour with a lasting head and good lacing. Malty with a healthy dose of caramel, nuts, and some grassy hops. Mouth feel comes up a touch light. Not bad at all.

This pours a copper color with a large white head. This smells like PBR with a touch of caramel. The flavor is like PBR with a touch of caramel as well. This is no octoberfest, this is swill with food coloring.

Pours a semi cloudy copper colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is slightly nutty, rich roasted malt character and subtle hops. A little toasty with a hint of maple syrup.

Poured a clear amber with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of mild malt, uncharacteristically fruity with hidden caramel notes. Smooth but fairly thin mouthfeel, and low carbonation. The taste is highlighted by unusual, fruity flavors with background toffe and toasted grain. Finish is thin, also fruity, but slightlty bitter. Wenn Sie ohne Bier sind, sind Sie außerhalb der Stadt! Thanks to pfoxyjohn for this Oktoberfest nectar. Pours a clear beautiful amber with a nice frothy white head and good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of slightly sweet toasted malts and very slight hops. Taste is smooth with a nice balance of malts and hops.

As I made my yearly pilgrimage to the store for the first of the Oktoberfests I picked this one up. I was pleasantly surprised with it. Its aromo was very nice, it poured a beautiful copper color, with a short lived head. the taste was excellent although not as strong as I like. I must admit I love the stronger German Marzen Beers. But it was very good for a domestic Oktoberfest, and i would definetly reccomend it.Much better than most.
