The pour from the bomber was a nice cloudy orangish color with a small white head. Aroma was peppery and perfumy with notes of grapefruit and citrus along with some peppermint and maybe a little too sweet. Flavor was nice with the taste of cinnamon and lemons and some ginger in there too. Overall just an incredible beer from a very good brewery.

This beer pours courtesy of rudolf who was kind enough to share with the rest of us. This beer pours a cloudy orangey yellow mix with very little head but noticeable carbonation. The aroma is spicey as all hell with notes of peppers, hop cones, citrus, grapefruit, peppermint and ginger. This is purely a spice beer in my books. The flavor is tangy, bitter, full bodied and wow does it pack a sharp bite. Peppermint, ginger, citrus, lemon, grapefruit and more earthy spicey pepper qualities that my dying tongue can fail to comprehend. It was interesting, but I didn’t quite understand the hype all too much. I found the peppermint/pepper qualities to be almost overwhelming.

Looks much like a cloudy mango and has a big pepper feel to the aroma. Tastes much like orange dental flouride, which in itself is kinda cool , very obscure taste. Most impressive again from solana beach.

Sampled at RFD Washington during Beer Gazetteer 2004. Belgian farmhouse style ale, similar to SPF 45 but without the ginger. Unfiltered, hazy gold color. Fragrant aroma with medicinal notes. Czech hops spice up the flavor, with hints of rose-hip, lavendar, and pepper. Mouthfeel is viscous and soapy. Faint band-aid aftertaste. Intriguing brew.
