This is the darkest Marzen I have ever tried. A dark brown pour, with reddish hues, that is clear when held to the light. Cap was non-existent. Aroma was grainy malt, caramel, and floral hops. Flavour was a bit off....burnt malt and a smidgen of sweetness. Not very bitter.

The brewery's website claims this is an Oktoberfest style beer. If so, this could be the worst Oktoberfest beer I've ever had. Pours a reddish brown with next to no head. Little in the way of aroma or taste--maybe a hint of caramel and roasted malts but not much. Very thin and watery tasting. I won't be getting this again.

The color is bronze with a thin, bubbly white head. Light malt in the nose, but also a more robust earthy aroma. Just a tad too thin and dry on the palate for a Marzen. The flavor is predominately caramel malt, not too sweet, with a refreshingly mild bitter finish.

Pours a light brownish colour with a red hue, small off white head, with subtle carmel undertones, touch of coffee, roasted malts and acidic, semi sweet flavor. finishes, drier with a decent amount of (saaz perhaps?) hops.

Poured to a reddish brown hue, funny thing is my friend was drinking a Samual Adams Octoberfest at the same time and they looked and smelled identical. Beer was well balanced and full bodied. Good malty taste with just the right amount of hops to give it a slight bitterness, but not too much. I would try this beer again, it was actually more then I expected from a small northern wisconsin brewery.. great job

Light red- brown color, medium head. A medium bodied red ale. Slightly roasted malts, nicely sweet. Mild hops although somewhat spicy. Nice balance, good taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
