The annual marathon up Pikes Peak is one of the country’s most difficult. It demands a runner’s full measure of determination and many are unable to finish. We’ve made this classic pale ale much more easy-going. It balances just enough citrus and bitterness against light body of smooth, golden malt. With a finish as clean as the air at 14,000 feet, it’s a refreshing reward for a tough climb. Relax on this Ascent, you’ve earned it.

Light amber to golden color with a moderate white head, good retention and nice lacing. Everything a nice pale ale should be - well-balanced, generously hoppy, with enough malt to complete a nice finish. Very refreshing.
