It a amber smoky beer with a fine foam, it smelled a little smoke in mouth I found a little smoky too and a fresh sensation, malt, citrus, coriande a little spicy but no more, good to drink. Pleasant after a hard day

500 ml swing-top bottle, gift of the brewery's director. Poured in the original Peniger stemmed glass a clear oak-burgundy coloured Bock with a one finger beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, roasted coffee beans and a pronounced touch of barnyard. The flavour is roasted malts, brown sugar, a fruity touch, plums and a floral ( hoppy ? ) note. The mouthfeel is light crispy and sparkling. The texture is watery. This medium bodied Bock has a dry malty finish. This Dunkler Bock from Saxony, if drinkable, all the ingredients are put together, isn't really convincing.
