King Crimson is an Imperial Red Ale that delivers a royal bounty of luscious, fruity American hops on top of a sturdy, deep red malt backbone. This beer is lavishly dry-hopped with Simcoe, adding a citrusy and piney flavor and aroma to the toasty, sweet malt notes. This special treat is a very limited Winter release, so enjoy it while you can!

A nice amber colored beer with a big, off white, frothy textured rising robustly above. There was great hang time on this one. It eventually settles into a healthy presence of splotches of film aside the glass and a thick ringlet atop the body. There's a big citric hop presence in both the nose and tasting. Quite refreshing. A medium body with slickness on the tongue.

Pours a clear dark coppery red with a decent orange-buff head. Aroma is strong, hoppy and slightly fruity with a nice yeasty undertone. Flavor is strongly hoppy and fruity with malty and yeasty undertones and is somewhat bitter. Texture is smooth, lively and fizzy, leaving a hoppy finish.
