500 ml bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague. Dark reddish brown to ruby colour, large & thick tan head. Aroma is surprisingly moderate: some malts, porridge, hints of roastiness, caramel. Flavour is more impressive: an immediate malty sweetness hits the tongue, followed by a pronounced roastiness with coffee elements. A robust & warming mouthfeel, alcohol is evident but not unpleasant. Roasted malts and quite a bit of hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad.

500 ml bottle. Poured a clear ruby brown colored Porter with a three fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a long retention. Active carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, dark chocolate, ripe dark fruits, hints of smoke. The flavour is sweet roasted malts, burned coffee beans, spicy, licorice, dark fruits, raisins, plums and some ... wood, touches of caramel. This is a magnificent balanced beer. The mouthfeel is a sweety betiwchment, very smooth, with a notable warming effect. May be a point too high sweety level. This full bodied beer has a lingering sweet malty and fruity finish. A beautiful brew. I like it!

Pours a dark brown, almost black with a thin layer of creamy off white head. Aroma is very robust, chocolate, roasty coffee, figs and molasses. Flavor is sweet, full of molasses, figs, and chocolate, with roasted espresso and some very light and subdued hops in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium-full, and silky smooth. Killer beer, $1.84 for 500ml? Hell yea...
